County postpones road work on Oregon Expressway

Temporary off-ramp closure likely to happen next week

Road work on the Oregon Expressway off-ramp in Palo Alto originally scheduled for Monday has been postponed due to the rain, Santa Clara County officials said.

The off-ramp from eastbound Oregon Expressway to southbound Alma Street was set for a four-hour closure starting at 10 a.m., the county tweeted on Thursday. Palo Alto police called the public's attention to the temporary shutdown in a Nixle alert issued Sunday night.

The county plans to reschedule the work for sometime next week, depending on weather conditions.
