Social studies is the most important subject in school because it teaches a representative democracy depends on an educated electorate, how to see when politicians are lying in other words. SB 50 is dead on arrival. I told Wiener he could not graduate from high school because of is inclusion of rent controls and also inclusionary zoning. All he did was cringe. The hardest job in the world is teaching bone head economics to California's politicians.
Palo Alto, Mountain View and Silicon Valley are bulging with students whose parents from around the world can afford the very high land rents. The heavy infantry is finally arriving: the socials studies teachers. In Silicon Valley you probably have the greatest concentration of brain power so far assembled in history. [Portion removed.]

Yeah, that's a pretty cringey thing to say.

Mr. Drysdale (self-professed expert on all PA matters) is our spiritual leader!
He will lead Palo Alto out of the doldrums of over-development & help to eradicate local politicians turning a blind eye.
No more development! People can live elsewhere & ideally work elsewhere.
The PA rat-cage days are coming to an end.

"Mr. Drysdale (self-professed expert on all PA matters) is our spiritual leader!"
That seems fitting.
