Please Palo Alto Planning & Development department vet your rental properties. The scams are rampant not just on Craig's list yet turbo tenant and apartments dot com . There is a problem Houston. GIT. They even sent me a copy of the deed based in Menlo Park 1460 ECR suite 150. This is beyond egregious. It’s criminal.

Since tomorrow is a regular banking day, and if you don’t mind me asking beforehand which banking branch. As you indicated this is a landlord/Tennant relationship. There are (and please do not take this as a criticism), I just need security in understanding where the money to you for this amazing rental opportunity is going to be deposited. This is also a business relationship. I totally understand. Yet without proper upfront knowing between you, your wife and myself (how the cash I send you is secured). Even as a security in having the place. Not sure how long it will take after signing, uploading the lease and the clearance for the check. My young son and I went by the property again this afternoon. The gates and small front window had been secured. This was a physical reassurance to us that there was attention to the safety of the property.
I would feel much more comfortable to meet you in person in the next 48 hours, sign the lease and give you the $9800.00 Though no walk thru could commence before the 9th of June. Is this doable. I could even meet you in San Jose Tues or Wednesday of this week. I am happy to bring my kids and husband along as well. This is our potential rental home which we so want to take care of for you the property owners. Can we arrange a in person signing & transfer of a $9800.00 from myself to you.
Thank you in advance for my concern. As I feel that meeting you would really solidify our future doing business together. And make real this transaction I am so ready to do. Yet virtually makes me a bit on edge.
