East Palo Alto police seek suspects after fatal collision Friday night

Witnesses urged to come forward after man is killed on Kavanaugh Drive

East Palo Alto police are looking for one or more suspects who were involved in a hit-and-run collision that resulted a man's death on Kavanaugh Drive on Friday evening, according to the police.

The collision occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Kavanaugh, according to a news release from the East Palo Alto Police Department. Police said the victim was an adult male whose identity wasn’t immediately available.

Police arrived at the scene to gather evidence and identify potential witnesses, but as of Saturday afternoon they did not have any specific information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspects involved.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information about the collision to contact the department by sending an anonymous email to epa@tipnow.org, sending an anonymous text to 650-409-6792 or leaving an anonymous voicemail at 650-409-6792.
