The commission plans to interview candidates for the Architectural Review Board and to hold a public hearing on the proposed development agreement with The Sobrato Organization, which includes a partial demolition of the former Fry’s Electronics building at 340 Portage Ave., construction of 74 townhomes and a transfer of 3.25 acres of land by Sobrato to the city for a future park and affordable-housing project. The council will receive presentations and public comments on the project but will defer action until the following week. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. Those wishing to participate by Zoom can do so by dialing 669-900-6833 and using Meeting ID: 916 4155 9499.

ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD ... The board plans to meet at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 250 Hamilton Ave. Those wishing to participate by Zoom can do so by dialing 669-900-6833 and using Meeting ID: 965 6189 1491. The agenda was not available by press deadline.
