"Toy distribution"

Peace Builders, a local nonprofit that sends shipments of medical and other aid for disaster relief and to children in need around the world, distributed 50,000 toys to foster and homeless children in the Bay Area on Friday, Dec. 18. Volunteers gave new toys, backpacks, blankets, children's clothes and shoes to the YMCA, Boy's and Girls Club, St. Francis of Assisi Youth Club, Samaritan House, CORA, Ecumenical Hunger Project. Ravenswood Education Foundation, Project We Hope, Innvision Shelter Network, Live in Peace, Ronald McDonald House, Multicultural Counseling Education Services and InnVision Network, among other groups.
