"Bay Area on Fire"

2020 is proving to be Annus horribilis in many different ways. As if the first pandemic in our lifetime and trapped in shelter wasn't enough, we are now dealing with 90F-106F local heatwaves. Today we have multiple fires around us with mandatory evacuation in place in Santa Cruz mountains and San Mateo. The Air Quality in Palo Alto happens to be one of the worst in the Bay Area tonight at around 300, with the windows shut and most homes without aircon.

Just to spice things up a little, up state in Mendocino County, one of the many fault lines decided it's the day to shake and that resulted in:

5:46 p.m.3.1 magnitude, 3.97 miles in depth
5:55 p.m.4.0 magnitude, 4.6 miles in depth
6:43 p.m.3.6 magnitude, 4.1 miles in depth
6:59 p.m.3.8 magnitude, 3.4 miles in depth
7 p.m.2.8 magnitude, 3.5 miles in depth
7:15 p.m.2.7 magnitude, 4.1 miles in depth - Aug 18, 2020
