"Showdown at Shoreline"

A gopher snake and a squirrel face off on the lawn at Shoreline Lake, Mtn. View. The squirrel seemed nervous that the snake was hanging around near its burrow and kept going over to harass it. The snake struck a couple of times but didn't scare off the squirrel. - May 7, 2021
