La Entrada is open to the public after normal school hours finish at 3.30 (or thereabouts). At that point the public can enter the grounds even though children are there in after school care. The same is true for Las Lomitas (same district) and Menlo Park schools. Similarly, Silicon Valley International School (which leases its building from Ravenswood School District ) is also open to the public from 3.30 even though after school care continues to 6pm. Their lease stipulates that they must be open from that time.
