Terrorist group claims to operate in Palo Alto

A quick heads up: the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Web Link for the Web Link Mujahedeen-e-Khalq, which has been listed as a Web Link foreign terrorist organization since the Clinton administration Web Link claims to have organized a rally in downtown Palo Alto on June 10. If this claim is true, it suggests that they're actively engaged in fund raising in Palo Alto or one of the surrounding communities.

Because their listing as a foreign terrorist organization means that giving money or material aid to the group is a crime, the MeK and its front groups have a history of using bogus front charities to solitict money. Be careful whom you give to!
