El Camino Looks Like a Construction Zone

At the intersection of Arastradero and El Camino the huge trucks providing dirt for the old Rickey's site have an intolerable mess.
I think the PAPD needs to get out there and monitor these trucks.
With the amount of dust in the air the EPA should monitor it as well.
Experience with grading contractor operating within a metropolitan area dictates that a responsible contractor provides the trucks with a "Wheel Wash down" pad. Either a concrete or asphalt area that the truckers pull on to to clean the tires on their bottom dumps before pulling onto the highway.
The mess we saw there today with trucks racing in and out throwing a ton of dust in the air is unacceptable and the city is remiss to say the least in allowing it to continue.

Are you kidding me, have the police monitor trucks? I am sure you will be the first person to complain when the police do not catch the crook in your neighborhood. Stop complaining about small things. Since moving to Palo Alto I have learned that residents here belive that they are the center of the universe. Give me a break, don't waste our city resources.

The police have more important things to do than to monitor trucks leaving the old Hyatt site. I wish I had time to worry about things like this- no wait, I'm gald I don't.
