I think it's this. Isn't it cool?

This is another project from the Palo Alto Art Center that is unusual, thoughtful, provocative. I've really enjoyed the work by artists like Patrick Dougherty and Judith Selby Lang that the Center has commissioned recently and my children have benefited from their excellent schools outreach efforts. Kudos to them -- and to Susan O’Malley for the 'advice' poster series on Embarcadero, which had me smiling and thinking.

I have really appreciated the cheerful and upbeat messages; however, I was wondering at first if anyone could become unduly distracted trying to read the entire message on the first pass (as I tried to do unsuccessfully at first). I think there are enough distractions with people texting and using cell phones without having several posters on the roadside to grab one's attention. I would suggest fewer words on the posters in the future if we are going to have any more installations such as this one. I do appreciate the upbeat aspect of the posters however.

Whatever, I drive or bike through there often and find it really makes me smile.
