I should add in her favor that it might be the producers and the editors who make her appear so bad mannered. In this light, I hope she does well in her future culinary career.

Long hair near cooking utensils and around food preparation is considered unhygienic. If not taught at home, they teach it in the free cooking classes in the middle schools here.

Plenty of shoemakers can do ONE good dish.
But it's all for entertainment. These contestants are "chefs" in the way that John Wayne movies were WWII documentaries.

Regardless of what anyone thinks, it is truly amazing that this girl was able to qualify to appear on this TV show. We should be proud of her confidence and capability.
