The No. 3 Stanford women's soccer team defeated No. 21 California, 4-1, Friday afternoon to claim its 11th Pac-12 title, and sixth conference championship in the past eight years.

The Xiao penalty wasn't in the box as the video replay clearly indicated. It was also a fair challenge and shouldn't even have been a DFK. Disappointing call by the referee team, especially as the center referee was actually in good position.
