Congrats to Gunn!!! Gunn’s historic season should be the top headline of your sports section today. This is a PALO ALTO paper that should care more about Gunn winning DIVISION 1 than SHP taking DIVISION 4....

Aside note freshman Kevin Landaverde played majority of the second half pressing Mitty backline and contributed well to almost pick up another goal for Gunn playing as a right winger and Dylan Sidhu came in late in the second half to ease the game out. Both should be given mentions.

The last gunn team to win CCS sent three players to the MLS so write down those names — I mean after attending Cal and Santa Clara. There is a former Gunn Player Named Jackson who did go straight from high school to the pros and is now coaching the minor-league team in Oakland a goalie.
I’m saying some of these kids are up there in the pantheon.
