House fire displaces family, forces evacuations in Palo Alto

A midday blaze that burned a two-story home on Tuesday forced a family of four to flee the building and caused police to evacuate surrounding residences, Battalion Chief Ryan Stoddard said.

I am so sorry to hear about this fire!

What a difficult time to lose your home, and likely with little notice to grab important items.

If there is an opportunity to help this displaced family I hope we'll be notified.

I agree with Lyndsay. There is terrible news. We live just a couple blocks away and would be happy to help. I also can provide a safe, loving temporary home for any pets if helpful, and can lend a laptop, cooking equipment, household supplies, etc. Family: if you see this, please feel free to reach out for any reason.
