What happened at that game last night? I can't believe that coach pulled his kids off the field. Like he took his ball and went home. He missed huge life lessons to teach his players. What he said was when you don't like how things are going ....you quit. I hope The Gunn players stand up to their coach. The whole point of having adults and refs on the field is to work out issues . To walk off shows terrible sportsmanship. Especially when these kids have been waiting all year to play. So disappointed and I think the coach let his players down.

What happened was that tensions were high because Gunn was “ahead” (just a scrimmage). A few kids got frustrated and made some bad choices (late hits/cheap shots). It became a safety issue. (More details are available in a Daily Post article). Both teams have some amazing athletes and both teams are excited to play and grateful to have a season. Good luck to both teams!
