A small plane sustained moderate damage after making a hard landing at the Palo Alto Airport on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in a minor fuel leak, according to the Fire Department.

I suppose this will give fuel to those who want to close the airport. It seems that nobody was seriously hurt and the plane landed on the runway.

We should be pleased about the outcome being so minor in the circumstances. Probably a case of saying well done to the pilot.
