East Palo Alto has changed.
And it's about time! Congratulations to all of the people involved in making this happen, as well as their families, friends and allies.

Echoing MyFeelz's words. It is also about time that all of humanity (including other cultures, red states, and conservative religions) accept the LGBTQ+ community as a key element of the global community.

Given the other federally-recognized holidays, there should also be a Harvey Milk Day to go along with Martin Luther King Day, Cesar Chavez Day, and Juneteenth. A holiday acknowledging transgenders should also be considered pending a renowned member of that group. I don't think Caitlyn Jenner Day would be appropriate.

There used to be a few gay businesses in Whiskey Gulch, way back when.
