Increasing involuntary services and institutional beds is a terrible mistake when we have too few voluntary options for people. Well intended but misguided people pushed for this partly from frustration with the inadequate and underfunded so called system now in place. So sad years of work is getting undone to finance this approach which will fail to help our neighbors and family members in need.
