Sexual harassment in the US military

Our brave sisters in the military continue to suffer sexual harassment with virtually no protection from their predators and their superiors. Army Specialist Suzanne Swift remains confined to her base after she went AWOL when the military refused to respond to her charges of sexual harassment and abuse. Suzanne returned to home in Eugene to escape her tormentors. Sadly, Suzanne succumbed to the blandishments of a smooth-tongued recruiter who offered her an enticing career in the military. She sent to Iraq after her training and then was forced to endure months of abuse. She decided to go AWOL after returning home on leave. I urge concerned citizens to contact your representatives in Washington and send an email of your support to Sara Rich at formydaughtersuzanne@yahoo.com.

Jag: You are a hate-America icon. You pollute our local papers with your hate-Bush/hate America trash. I never see anyting from you about our enemies (for instance the horror of Iraq under Saddam). You are a political joke. Nobody listens to you. Get lost.

Yikes! I just wasted my breath. Jag gets his points from Move On.org, and similar sites. Why did I just respond to him? I should be ashamed.
