Right, the same guy who "certified" the election of Chavez in Venezuala..the same election where 70% of the people at the exit polls having the courage to publically state they voted against him, in spite of a history of Chavez harrassing people who spoke against him. There were, surprisingly (!) Carter's poll watchers at only a few polls allowed by Chavez, and once the vote was counted, surprisingly (!) not supervised by anyone outside the country, the count was miraculously reversed..70% FOR Chavez. Without Carter, the country might have had a chance at international support for a real election. Instead, Carter effectively killed it. No thanks, I was appalled at the destruction by Carter of democracy in this country, and thus now believe the opposite of anything Carter says. And this from someone who worked his campaign and voted for him, much to my shame. Words are nice, but action tells it all.

By the way, Carter being the "architect" of the Camp David accords is NOT an accolade. These accords, with Carter's usual finesse, resulted in the continuing destruction of Palestine through validating the Architect of Terrorism, Arafat, who felt comfortable completely dismissing all agreements at the last minute because he understood the blindness, the naivete, of people like Clinton and Carter and other gullible people, which led to the Intifada. No thanks, Carter adds fuel to the fire wherever he goes.

Carter is no friend of the Palestinians.

Once again we have another recipient of the Jagjit Singh award for courage--Jimmy Carter.
However, as longtime readers of this blog know, anything that Jag Singh posts must be taken with a grain of salt. The question is, is this post another cut and paste job by Jag, lifted from another website, or is it really his true writings.
Either way, most readers have come to realize that Jag's writings are tainted with anti-semitism and hatred for Israel. As with his other posts this one is filled with a one-sided analysis of the conflict in the middle east--with Israel being given all th eblame by Jag, while the Palestinians are portayed as the poor, oppressed conquered minority.
The be quite honest Jimmy Carter's opinions, as well as those of his fellow mouthpiece for Palestinian terrorism, Desmond Tutu, are not worth a look listening to seriously.

I'm sure the right wing, hate filled , Zionists will attack Carter even more now. What is going on in that area is supposto be kept a secret. Almost everyone politicans ,newspapers, talk shows, news reports are not allowed to speak the truth ,or else.

First, what is a Zionist, in your opinion? I think its just someone who believes in the right of Israel to exist, and recognizes its importance to Jewish people all over the world.
Second, how do you know that any particular zionist is "hate-filled?" I think most Zionists hate this continued destructive conflict, and would prefer to live in peace.
Finally, Right wing? right wing of what? I'm sure there are Zionists from every part of the American political spectrum, which is pretty centrist by historical standards.
Where are you getting the rest of your post about people keeping secrets? I mean - who is being prevented from speaking on this issue? I hope they aren't teaching you that kind of stuff in school!

Why don;t you try going to some of these countries that want to wipe Israel off the map and try expressing opinions that are out of line with th elocal ruling dictatorship.

I heard Jimmy Carter interviewed on this topic recently. The interviewer asked him how he would respond to Israelis who are skeptical about the idea of negotiations with an organization that aims to destroy Israel. He said Hamas was elected by the people. The interviewer asked again, so what would you say to Israelis who don't want to negotiate their destruction, and Carter said Hamas is democratically elected. Sorry, Jimmy. Being elected may render Hamas "legitimate" in the eyes of Palestinians, but the world is not required to honor the election of terrorists. His evasion was totally revealing. The question can't really be answered in any manner consistent with his espoused values.

I'd like to see Carter negotiate with Bin Laden.

Yes, I assure you that the kids at Gunn DO get incredibly one sided propoganda concerning the current Middle East conflicts, and the history of HOW Israel came to exist and HOW Palestine came to exist. There is a teacher there who actually teaches the kids that the Jews forced the Muslims living in Israel to leave at the time of Israel's creation ( by the UN I might add), and that the ratio of forcing the Muslims to leave was about 1 Jew for every 3 Muslims. Complete and utter diregard for the facts of the history, which were that the Jews asked all people living there at the creation to stay and be full citizens with full representation, just don't fight their Jewish neighbors. Unfortunately, about 250,000 Muslims left in fear after the surrounding countries filled their heads with fear about what was going to happen to them the first day of Israel's statehood. They fled to the current Palestine area, in the belief that they could return in few days after the Jews were wiped out. Simultaneously, about 250,000 Jews were EXPELLED from all the surrounding countries, with nothing but what they could carry, and found asylum in tiny little Israel. Meanwhile, somehow all these massive countries couldn't manage to find space in their hearts and lands to absorb an equal number of their bretheren who had chosen to leave Israel. The dictators of these countries knew that the now-called Palestinians were much more useful as propoganda chess pieces, and kept them imprisoned in their little bit of land. Of course, what country would willingly take back people who had sided against it? But, of course, that is now portrayed as "stealing" land.

And now the children and grandchildren of these poor pawns are continuing to be used. It is a shame on all the surrounding bretheren countries who created this mess. But, what do they care? Those poor Palestinians are very useful in creating distractions from their own horrible living conditions and attention on whose fault it is.

Oh, by the way, try looking up how much aid Israel and the US send to the Palestinians, and what the total is from ALL the rest of the Middle East...that will tell you everything you need to know.
