Anyone try both it and Amarin? Can you compare the two on food and price?????
Amarin is a Thai restaurant on Castro Street in Mt. View.
I highly recommend the squid salad and anything with mango sauce (we had the prawn with mango sauce).
The squid was a flattened piece (no tentacles) that was grilled and served with a sauce and head lettuce chunks. We could see the char marks on the squid. It was soooo delicious as was the sauce. I would have gladly had two of these all to myself and called it dinner.
The sauces on the other two dishes were great too. The only thing I didn't like was that the same bell pepper slices were served with everything we had which was monotonous.
We were too full to try the mango sticky rice but shared a dish of coconut ice cream with shaved coconut on top. Good.
Anyone try the other Thai restaurant next door on Castro St.???
I also recommended Indochine in Midtown in Palo Alto on Middlefield Road.
