Bay Area janitors end labor strike

Striking Bay Area janitors overwhelmingly approved a new contract Wednesday that will increase their wages by 22 percent, or $2.40 an hour, over the next four years.

Yesterday the police were called because protesters were invading an office. Today they are going there because protesters are using the bathrooms.

Maybe someone could drop off a couple of port-a-potties for them as a good gesture.

It looks as though ABM is doing ok.

I bet Richard Sherman will have something quotable to say about this. Stanford is a highly reputable school. Why it doesn't treat it's workers better does not make sense to me. Maybe we are just highly misinformed. Web Link
