Goodbye Ole's, hello affordable housing

A plan to build affordable housing for Palo Alto's service workers, their families and seniors will come before the city's Architectural Review Board on Thursday, Sept. 4.

This is a perfect location for high-density housing. It is easy walking distance to jobs, the train/bus station, schools, health care, shopping, etc. If we want to reduce traffic through our city, we have to develop an infrastructure that encourages walking or bicycling instead of cars.

I wonder if I'm eligible for a BMR units - that's a great location.
