Need build the sound wall between 101 & W. Bay shore Rd.

Original post made by jenny, Palo Verde, on Jan 4, 2009

Traffic ! Traffic ! too much traffic increased, and too much noise impact the residential area, especially, for new condos communities -- Vantage , Echelon, Altaire. Hwy 101 will expend one more line to connect Hwy 85. Wish city and high way planner consider to build the sound wall to decrease the noise first.

I wish the city would build a sound wall in front of my house.

I wish the city would patrol traffic on my street.

I wish the city would trim the street trees, dead hanging branches.

I wish, I wish, I wish somebody else would pay for things I want.

Sound walls are a want not a need. For those living beyond Echelon, Vantage etc., the sound will bounce off the sound wall so that houses further back will get the noise.

What's with those new development names: Echelon, Vantage, Altaire ???

Is it just me or do other people find them ridiculous too?

Odd names and really ugly buildings.

The last soundwall built is so ugly because of the signage and is still causing the road to be too narrow due to the powers that be not completing the job. We do not need any more of these types of walls. Any more need to be less ugly and actually help traffic move rather than cause distractions to all passers by.

No money ! 101 cannot be widened, 85 is still rough & bumpy.
No Job, No workers, No traffic, no noise , no sound wall ...
Everything seems solved !!

No money ! How come still build so many condos/houses ???
