'East Palo Alto police detectives interviewed Sanchez and learned that he was a previously deported felon.'

Illegal immigrant.

Previously deported.

Felon.

Yet here he is back again, now with a dead baby on his hands. Yeah, ICE is BAD. Riiiiight. Illegal immigration may have nothing to do directly with what happened with the death of this child, but a tendency to flout the law in one area tends to carry over to a overall lifestyle. One where the innocent wind up suffering or paying with their lives.

What are you talking about? The Bart cop hasn't been lost. He's always been in the picture. You know, sometimes it 's not about racism. It's about stupidity. That whole Bart thing started with stupidity, ended with stupidity. With stupidity comes tragedy. You want to say that the Bart cop was criminally negligent? Sure. Ok. Say that. But remember, the people fighting on the train were as well. Remember that.

Know what's really stupid? Vandalizing businesses and rioting and committing random acts of violence making a peaceful protest with a point into just another example of why some people may overreact with tragic consequences.

The BART officer hasn't been "found" because no one is looking for him. BART knows exactly where he is. The EPA shooter has been "found" because he did the right thing and turned himself in. There is no racism here.

Ice is great. Illegal immigration needs to stop. EPA is full of illegal families whose presence is an expense to all of us. Talk to a local teacher or doctor if you need proof. Our quality of life suffers due to free loaders who got in illegally. Enough is enough.

I seem to recallthat Gandi once called for a day of prayer from all Indians in response to a new and oppressive law being imposed by the British, and on that day India pretty much ground to a halt. I am willing to be that if you pushed a magic button and teleported all illegals back to where they came from you would find Palo Alto, and other cities across America, grinding to a stand-still.

Yes, there may be real undesirables inthat crowd, but there are others we need and depend on. What we REALLY need is tight borders and a realistic immigration policy.

Remember also that many illegals from Mexico are here fleeing the virtual civil war raging in Mexico. I view them as refugees.

Illegal alien has a job in Palo Alto. He should be charged for having a false work document. Did he use an alias for his employer? Where did he get the gun from? Black market gun trading is very hard to crack down unless the EPAPD should plea bargain for the source of this gun. They can take out the people who illegally sold those guns.
