This troupe of former Congressional staffers is sure to upset those right, left and center. Putting the "mock" in democracy, the Steps leave no issue untouched with their own special brand of satirical humor and scathing parody.
The Capitol Steps is the only group in America that attempts to be funnier than the Congress! They monitor events and personalities on Capitol Hill, in the Oval Office, and in other centers of power and prestige around the world and then take a humorous look at serious issues while providing a nationwide laugh for millions.
Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded 28 albums. They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, CNN, and can be heard 4 times a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials. They've performed for five U.S. Presidents (six if you include Hillary.)
This is first of two shows. The Steps will also perform at 7:00 p.m.
This is a 3rd annual benefit for the Gunn Robotics Team and the cost of the ticket over $20 is a tax deductible donation.
