Thank you for this great piece on native bees. One of California's native bees is the stunning Western Bumble Bee (Bombus occidentalis), which sadly is in major decline. Many people aren't aware that there are easy ways to take action today to help native bees. Easy steps such as planting native flowers, building homes for native bees and restoring wildlife habitats. Thanks to Acterra Stewardship and the UC Berkeley team for this event!
