Not to keep beating a dead horse, but just to make the point.

This is what happened to much of our smaller, independent, cheaper choices in health care. When a lobbying group of any sort, be they groups to lobby to change laws to favor them such as language translation groups or certain medical professionals, or groups that lobby to change laws to favor them in order to get rid of the few remaining businesses that won't be able to live up to the new law....there is always a price to be paid when we let government decide what businesses can stay and what they must do.

And it never, ever stops at just one industry.

And we, the consumers, always lose.

When PG&E was handed the dirty end of the stick after Diablo Canyon and Helms Hydro, they surrendered their independent judgment in return for a government guarantee of profit. The foolish renewable requirement that has doubled our energy cost with no real benefit except to the Gorebots and the regulatory agencies payrolls has put PG&E into competition for a scarce commodity, renewable sources.

As a customer of Palo Alto Utilities I'm surprised PG & E haven't done this sooner!! Whatever happen our rates will continue to go up and up.

I pray that, as the Warmie Religion continues to melt down from internal dishonesty and logical inconsistencies, the legislation based on the lies will be gradually swept away. My further hope is that those politicians and other "leaders" will furl their banners and retire in shame. It will take decades to fully recovery from this folly, but let the recovery begin.
