Apparently it was down at the end of Alma near El Camino and El Palo Alto (the tree). No mention of it in the P. A. Online news. Bad publicity for High Speed Rail, I guess.

HSR will create grade separations (for both HSR and CaltraiN) so cars no longer drive on the train tracks.

So glad no one was hurt in this.

Don't stop on tracks, you are less likely to stall if you are moving!

I would like to hear more details about the stall.

hsr will elevate the HSR high above street level, so instead of car on train accidents, we'll hear 40 trains per hour all across the city as the train noise travels for miles...

I often see cars stopped on the tracks at the various crossing, while waiting for the light to change. This might or might not be what happened here, but I just want to remind drivers that, although waiting on the tracks might save you a few seconds or even minutes, being hit by a train is a very bad thing. Your chances of getting stuck on the tracks or having a train hit you while you wait are increased when you do this, no matter that the traffic lights are supposed to be timed to prevent this. Please don't stop on the train tracks. I'd rather be backed up behind you than watch you get hit.

"...we'll hear 40 trains per hour..."

Hyperbole alert.

Every 90 seconds, 24x7?
