Congratulations to Harmony! She is a great teacher doing wonderful things with all her students. She was an 'early adopter' of technology in her classroom and received a Hewlett Packard Technology for Teaching grant several years ago. She's an example of the many, many wonderful teachers working in Ravenswood District.

I wish there were more programs like this to honor our outstanding teachers. Congratulations to Harmony Hayes and the other classroom heroes.

Great job Ms. Hayes and I applaud how involved the 49ers are in the local community and in supporting the 49ers academy. Brad at Media Center works with kids in the video program over there and sometimes a 49er team member will come down and be on the TV show. Here's a link to the playbacks of these student produced shows:

In fact we are broadcasting LIVE from 49ers Academy this Thursday at 5:15 on Channel 28 or webcast on www.midpenmedia.org/stream.
