If you think Measure D will un-leach never ending litigation from the Firefighters just wait and see what happens to Measure E if it passes.
It turns out that the 10 acres of land in Byxbee Park doesn't even belong to the City of Palo Alto and therefore the City has no power to un-dedicate it.
The land in question belong to the State of California and is leased to the City of PA. Therefore, the City has no control over how it is used in the future except to comply with the lease agreement which requires that it be kept as a "passive pastoral park."
