Motorcyclist hit by car on Middlefield Road

A motorcyclist was taken to Stanford Hospital with a serious leg injury after being hit by a car on Middlefield Road Wednesday morning (Jan. 4), Palo Alto police said Thursday.

Is this the same accident that was reported yesterday as a vehicle striking a pedestrian?

Forest Ave has stop signs at this corner, but Middlefield Road does not. California drivers need to quit making these "California stops". Stop means stop. Don't go until you check all the intersecting streets and you are sure you can make it across safely.
