please don't park on the street on street sweeping days

Original post made by resident, Downtown North, on Nov 20, 2013

Work crews try to sweep city streets once a week during the fall and winter. Unfortunately, scofflaws parking on the street make this really hard. Tree leaves that are not swept up clog the storm drains and after just two days of rain, there are reports of flooding all over the city today. You can find your the street sweeping day for you block on the city web site: Web Link
If your garage and driveway are too full of junk to park, just park around the block (but make sure they have a different sweeping day.) Please remind your neighbors, too. Thank you.
