The first thing the new president of Sofia should do is reinstate the faculty and staff "fired" for "insubordination." They are the essence of the school.

I am a licensed psychologist and psychology professor in Mexico. I came from Mexico to study in this school because of its transpersonal approach. The program was one of the best in the world for this discipline. However, when Neal King came on board, he and the board decided to "erase" everything that has to do with Transpersonal. Despite 600+ signatures against the new name. Now, two years later we lost a lot of our faculty and staff that made this school a wonderful place. The ones that are still there are in deep stress. It has been painful, really painful. As for myself, I am left with nearly 300,000 dlls student loan and the a degree from a school which reputation has been destroyed by its own board members. Moreover, with the feel of hopelessness that everything happened and continue to happen with no input from us, the students.

I'm sorry to say but this "school" never had a solid reputation as other commenters have also noted. The school always had management, and administration issues. This is just the tip of the iceberg, I have to say. Despite the fact that King and the board might have mishandled things. The issues have been going on for many years. I feel bad for people who spent their well earned money in that place.
