Many thanks to PAPD for keeping us abreast of flooded roads, etc. by way of their Facebook page and Twitter. We also got phone calls from them too. Well Done.
You don't have to be on Facebook or Twitter to follow these updates. Just load the relevant pages and then refresh every now and then.
I also got emergency bleeps on my phone which signal the emergency broadcast signal, but since I couldn't read them at the time, they had vanished by the time I got to them.
