Yup, 5 closely-spaced vertical spotlights on the roof of HP headquarters.
I assume it's a temporary celebration of their new era.
Old HPQ shares are now split into new HPQ and HPE (HP Enterprise) shares.
If it lasts more than a week, complaints will get it discontinued.
At least they don't have it lit all night.

I was wondering where the Batman emblem was!

Interesting that it's coming from HP. The first thing my wife said when she saw it was "that's a Dark Mark" - from Harry Potter.

I would have thought by now that the PA Weekly might have got a good photograph and and interview with HP. After all, Batman hasn't arrived yet and we are all still waiting agog here in Gotham!

I thought there was only one Gotham.

Sure it's not SFO installing a new tower to help navigate all those newly routed flights over Palo Alto?

This is light pollution!! The hanging neon aqua rectangle is godawful ugly in the landscape by day, and blinding at the intersection by night. Whoever came up with this logo ought to pay us to look at it.
This is our of keeping with all other signage in the SIP. Who can we complain to? And the beams had better be short lived. Anyone know how long the'll be messing up the sky?

What a let down. Followed the lights the other night and was at least hoping to find a mattress sale or a jump house for the kids.
