Stanford Health Care names new president and CEO

David Entwistle has been name the new president and CEO of Stanford Health Care, the organization announced Wednesday.

Going beyond the news release, can anyone report: (1) how much the guy will be paid, (2) what was he paid in his last position and (3) who exactly picked him as the new CEO?

Finally, thank God. Stanford medical needs a lot of help with its operational deficiencies. Go Entwistle!

Mr. Entwistle will be coming from a hospital which offers inpatient psychiatric care for both children and adolescents. Hopefully, he will be dismayed that Stanford/LPCH send all youth (including suicidal teens) away to out-of-county hospitals when they turn to Stanford for help during a mental health crisis. We hope that Mr. Entwistle will commit to helping all children who arrive at Stanford seeking care.
