Dude stole a car only to drive 2 minutes down the road and get into his own vehicle?
Is that how car theft works these days? The burglar doesn't take it it to a chop shop or whatever, they take it to a busy parking lot for a "hand off"?

@ Dan. Go back and read the article again. There is no mention anywhere about a stolen car.
