Shop Talk: Teavana to close; Nobu takes over hotel

In this week's retail news, Teavana will close at Stanford Shopping Center, Nobu Hospitality takes over The Epiphany Hotel and a dumpling eatery opens in Palo Alto.

Thanks for complaining your old neighbor away Palo Alto Fit. Enjoy the constant steaming of cabbage by their replacement. Karma can be stinky sometimes.

Nobu is a Korean name; is the chef part Korean, and will Korean dishes be part of the menu?

To Question: Nobu is a Japanese name, not korea.

Larry Ellison love all things Japanese, so I guess he "letting' Nobu to take over his property is totally understandable.
