Supreme Court clears way for state foie gras ban to take effect

After a seven-year legal battle, the U.S. Supreme Court declined on Monday to review a ruling on California's ban on foie gras.

I'd be willing to reconsider if we could force feed Thomas Keller, a leading protester of the ban, until his liver is severely enlarged and then get his view if he felt it was at all unpleasant. In the meantime, let's treat all animals, including those we rely on for sustenance, with great respect and care.
