Palo Alto beats Spartans, close gap in SCVAL De Anza race

The Palo Alto boys basketball team knocked off first-place Mountain View 56-42 Monday, and now all of a sudden the Vikings, left for dead as a middle of the pack, .500 team a couple weeks ago, are just a half game out of first place in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League’s De Anza Division.

You want physical, you get physical play with guys like Walters, Chryst, Passarello, Shephard etc...those kids are tough and will get after it like savages whenever needed, have been that way since middle school. To top it off you got Theil who is the Edelman of Paly, tough little reciever who gets after it!!! with no fear!!!

Jordan turns out some tough kids!!!

how come most high school teams around here can't score more than 12-15 points a quarter?

in indiana (where I'm from) the coach would be run out of town for such abysmal productivity.

70 points is a good ballpark figure for a high school basketball team.
