Washington takes Love in the fourth round of the NFL draft

The Washington Redskins drafted Stanford record-breaking running back Bryce Love in the fourth round draft pick, 112th overall, of the NFL Draft on Saturday. Love, who missed much of the season with an injury, was a Heismann Trophy candidate as a junior.

Bryce could show some love for native peoples by convincing his bosses to change the name of the sports mascot to something that does not reference a racial stereotype.

If the Cleveland football franchise could be named for founder Paul Brown, then that is pehaps precedent for The Washington Love.
