Wildfire smoke prompts Spare the Air alert for Monday

A Spare the Air Alert for smoke throughout the entire Bay Area region has been issued for Monday due to wildfires in Northern California, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District said.

It seems like there is always a spare the air day.
Why not just notify us on the two days a year when we can burn?

If you want to start a fire in your house, do it when it is raining. Not too hard for you to figure out when that is. I assume that your house has windows.
