Really appreciate you making the effort to keep us informed! The NCAA and Pro sports news is all over the place, but there's very little coverage of the impacts to the spring High School athletics programs due to Covid-19.

Given the closure of Bay Area schools through at least the beginning of May, is there an update on what the CIF or any of our local high school sports leagues intend to do regarding Spring sports?

"The 14-school Santa Clara Valley Athletic League has officially canceled its spring sports season, Commissioner Brad Metheany said. The 24-school Blossom Valley Athletic League did the same last week"

Is there any news on this? The SCVAL website doesn't even list this info! Has CIF issued any news?

Looking forward to some local prep and club sport news.

A good story might be, what are all these coaches doing? In Palo Alto there are many club soccer, gymnastics, baseball, lacrosse and swimming coaches who are trying to ride this out "on the bench". Some of these coaches are full time with their club. What are they doing and how are they keeping their club together? Same for HS sports and coaches!
