Around Town: 91-year-old woman fulfills lifelong dream of completing bachelor's degree

In the latest Around Town column, news about a 91-year-old Palo Alto woman who recently finished her bachelor's degree, the Stanford Dish reopening this Monday and posters calling attention to police brutality near City Hall.

I am disappointed with the unsigned 24-line summary of the issues, above, regarding policer reform here. In terms of the wheat-pasted broadsides place confusingly near the public art installation, I agree with some of the sense of it but found fault.
Thankfully these sensitive issues are not decided in the press or the streets.

I recommend the creator work with an artist and create a series of informative and attractive broadsides and try to get local businesses to put them in the window.

I hope he has the courage of his convictions to sign his work.

I support Black Lives Matter but also believe that our Police and Fire are doing a good job. Not perfect, but moving forward.
