I'm curious: Why no high school in East Palo Alto so the kids of color can have their own school to call their own and have pride and then don't have to feel uncomfortable?

People should not be exploiting or marketing race. Public policy based on skin color is wrong - we should all know that by now. Teachers and activists who push race-based curricula are pushing a new form of racism in the name of 'fixing' society. To 'fix' society, everyone needs to treat all people as fellow humans - not by their skin color, faith, country of origin, etc. - a colorless society. Young blacks should not be misled and misinformed - as they are - that the society and opportunities of today are those of the past. To the extent that all young people work towards recognizing theirs and others humanity and not their skin color, we will all be better off.
