Completely agree. When there are white-on-white, black/black, black/white, white/Hispanic or white/Asian killings, it's crickets. When it's white-on-black, it's "racism". And in this case, a black man was justifiably killed (about to lunge with a knife), then there is looting. How can blacks gain respect when they do such things?
Why doesn't BLM try to actually help the blacks? Tutors, mentors, etc? Colin Kaepernick is protesting only. If anything, he's stirring up resentment. Ice Cube is trying to actually do something productive for the blacks, working with politicians.
We have a family friend who lives in Alabama and he and his wife are financially successful and have successful careers. They think that the Democrats are the most racist and only pretend to care about blacks. They are against affirmative action because they have succeeded on their own merit but affirmative action results in questionable merit. They think that the Democrats give blacks welfare (keeps them down and unwilling to succeed) and places them in low-income housing (segregation).
