Does the water taste different to anyone?

Over the last day or two, I noticed that the water in Palo Alto has a strange taste to it. Well, specifically, it has a strange and bad aftertaste. It almost tastes as if it is water that you drink from an old water hose on a hot day.
Has anyone else noticed this?
I know that our water shifts to a different supply when the clean the pipes once or twice a year. Usually, it tastes a bit more, uh, "earthy." The water over the last day or two has tasted somewhat different from those usual changes.
Any ideas?
